Vote
If you are legally entitled to do so, vote. If you need a ride, there are volunteers to give it to you. If you are handicapped, there are specialist volunteers to help you. If you think your one vote doesn’t amount to much, you’re wrong. It is your voice saying yes to one thing and no to something else. That’s important 300,000,000 times over.
This is an historic election and you mustn’t get left out. When years have passed you will want to say whatever happened depended also on you. We all depend on you. There are nineteen Presidential candidates. Mark one of them down on your ballot tomorrow!
Voting tomorrow will be the most important thing you do over the next four years. Vote.
I’m going in a few hours!
@Gil:
Great! I am waiting for America to get up and do something!
They will! It is about time to wake up…
It\’s Election Day. Palma and I were in line when the polls opened at 7am this morning. About 50 minutes later, we were on our way. I have a lot of hope about this election, but that also means that there\’s a lot of fear, as well. My hope is that we can get the U.S. back on track: the wise big brother to the world instead of the isolated bully. My fear is: more divisiveness and an administration determining its direction from the latest polls. But I\’ve always been a hopeful guy, and I remain so today.
@Brad\’ll Do It:
I think we have also been the crazy uncle that breaks the family bank and leaves the lights on when he goes away on a trip. I have hopes, and that’s all one can have right now. I am so restless today! Will I sleep? Hmmm.
