It would be hard to live without the light that pours in through the window.  If only I could preserve that for the winter.

To add to the sunshine (a rare product in high demand here in cold Montreal), let me give you this link to an interview with Alice Medrich… when we visited you in Italy many moons ago, you gave me a chocolate dessert cookbook penned by Alice, which I treasure to this day.

We’re having people over this weekend for supper. I might even make one of her desserts — if I have enough people around, I feel justified in making dessert because most of it ends up leaving in the guests’ stomachs! LOL
