Puglia, Apulia

March 28th, 2007

Whichever you like.  Latin or Italian.

I will be there for the next few days making sure that my Pugliese or Apulian food is correctly seasoned and prepared.  It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.

I stopped dieting in preparation for the food trip because my face became unrecognizable.  I was told today to sleep hanging upside down like a bat for a while, so that may illustrate my condition.

Ostuni, here I come.  Here is something to amuse you while I am gone.  And another, here.

I think your diet was too srict. They say never cancel bread and pasta otherwise when you stop dieting you get fat again in a short time. Diet should be slow otherwise your face becomes full of wrinkles and you become pale. Some people get immediately depressed.
In Italy it’s impossible to stay on diet when Easter is coming…

Have a lovely time, enjoy the warmth and sunshine, and eat to your hearts’ content - you’ve earned it!

Then hurry back and tell us ALL about it!

Ooh Puglia, I just love the food especially the seafood and the friendly people there. I’m very envious.
