any cucumber works.

and really for mine I just do vinegar and sugar with cloves.
Keeping it simple, but wanted to post the ORIGINAL RECIPE, and not mess with it.

I don\'t need my pickles to be yellow from tumeric!
or too flavorful! and I don\'t like the little seeds in my mouth!

But pickles are a fun food, light and fresh and so easy to make.
Makes great gifts!</description>
