Hey, David, did you see the sel gris in my apple caramel recipe? Huh? Huh?
I don't know what JP had in mind here. He bound up a lot of girls in his show. Is it social comment?
Has anybody seen the Viktor& Rolf collection? Whoooey!

HA! my curiosity was piqued and I looked up Viktor & Rolf... interesting. The star pattern was getting a bit much, and I've got serious doubts about the stringy stuff... but there were some items that could actually be wearable in real life. I esp. liked the shaded suits and the trench coat... I also peeked at the men's collection. Amusing, but those yellow clogs were ruining the lines LOL The boutique is also... 'renversante'...

Pea, do you know how wonderful it is to know someone who understands the difference among piqued, peaked and peeked? How blessed I am in my friends!

I'd be more worried about the Viktor & Rolf things with the superstructures. When they say "This lights up your face," they mean it.

Hee! I had not realised that I had piqued / peeked :-) Actually, native French speakers have the advantage in determining proper spelling. Piquer means to prod, poke or pierce with a sharp object, such as a needle. "Piquer la curiosité" is colloquial in French :-)

The Viktor & Rolf pillows outfits in the archives were a hoot. My favourite was the red satin piqué (there's that word again!) dress with white sheet insides and the big pillow behind the head. Like walking around curled up seductively in your own bed. Witty.

I don't get fashion sometimes. I saw your comment on bleeding espresso which got me here.
I spent two very happy months the past two summers near Lucca (a bit up the road from you).
I miss Italy.
