It comes to each of us

Lately I am getting notices everyday of spamming left in the comments sections. How anyone thinks this is a winning strategy, I don’t know, but I’ve had to add a verification code to avoid it. I personally would rather pull my toenails out one by one rather than visit a spamming site or buy anything they offer!
I’ve watched every blog I like go in that direction, and I really didn’t want to do it, but the alternate is to read inappropriate and completely gratuitous advertising, so here we go.
Sorry, friends. I just had to do it.

Decobabe: I just wanted to say hello – I’m not a spammer but was a Gardenwebber and remember your leaving for Italy!: I guess it was a good move!

But you weren’t Menehune there?
Yes, it was a good move, and if you all could just jack the dollar up, I’d be very content.

Hi Judith: If you turn off the comments in the older posts, it seems that that’s where the spammers leave ‘comments’. That’s what I did, since unfortunately, I was getting 20-30 a day!

Yes it was a problem for me too, those damn spam generated computers have no heart.
