All I can see when I look at them is twisted ankles and broken legs and hips. There doesn't appear to be any support at all under the instep, which makes falling off them more likely than staying in them. I could be wrong, but I'm going to let someone else do the experimenting. I think we're looking at short-lived, if any, fad here - I don't see any future to them at all. We are twins under the skin. I don't wear sky high heels anymore, but if I did I might try them just for the heck of it. I have driving loafers in the car. Does anybody else bother with that? The difference is that where the foot bends is more flexible, and that is what I check first when buying heels anyway. If it won't bend, you will suffer!
