But what\'s that thing on her feet? Pink rollerblades? And isn\'t that hat a bit unpractical, at least if you care where you\'re going? Love the colors. Love.

Oh, my! I saw very little in the collection that I didn\'t like, which is a rare event indeed for me. Aside from that overblown mess of a \'50\'s mistake in lilac, that is...which is a disaster of monumental proportions. My absolute favorite? Gotta be the yellow suit with all the horizontal tucks around the skirt. Never in my life have I had the figure to wear such a thing (and one could wish that more who would wear it would realize they shouldn\'t), but for pure eye candy and wishful thinking, that one easily takes the palm. The long skinny honey-colored evening tube with all the beading is almost as good, though. I liked almost everything in the blue/gold group. Maybe it\'s just those lush, lush fabrics? The collection as a whole has a lot of really great fabrics, very feminine without going over the line (with a couple of exceptions) into frou-frou. Thanks for the fun!

Draw from it, ladies! Galliano is not known for designing for Top Shop or H&M! There's no way any forward looking designer brings out a collection that anyone can wear right off the runway in its entirety. Look at those designs with the large fluffy hips!

I think it's cute. Then, I have to spend a lot of time looking where my feet are, anyway, so even the hat would be fine, if it wouldn't make me look like a little mushroom.

You must think I've gone out of my mind. I somehow got two different costumes juxtaposed in my memory. The one I actually meant was #4 in the parade, with the checkerboard brocade effect fabric.

It's very pretty, but i'm not concerned about her shoes. I'm concerned about her legs, or lack there of. What are those things sticking out of her pants??

I've long since given up thinking about the many parts models are missing. I always give kudos to lines that show real women, but these runway shows are still producing anorexic girls who pass out when they leave the runway.

If I could afford to buy any of the runway clothes, I'd make a point of refusing to buy those shown on hungry girls, but under the circumstances, I don't think they'd listen to me. I no longer buy magazines that never show realistic women, however.

Laura, I am really happy that you don't like those clothes. Your clothes aren't right for adult or mature women, and ours aren't right for you.

Our problem is that right now it seems that the shops are full of clothes you can wear, and even though the big designers are sending clothes for us down the runways, they aren't showing up in the shops. Women who are doctors, lawyers, business people, or go to fancy parties or to resorts can't find anything to wear except the clothes that a teen can love.

How would you feel if you went to the emergency room and a 55 year old female doctor walked in wearing tight jeans 4" below her navel and a shrink top? Wouldn't you think she was nuts? Would you want her to start stitching you up?
