The Week in Review
This is where I was. Not too shabby, eh? That’s Lago Trasimeno which was infamously the site of a great Roman defeat to Hannibal. Nowadays it has shrunk a lot, so it would be much harder to entrap a whole army in a narrow defile. All that flat land below was under water 2000 years ago. Way up here in a vacation villa, we get the fabulous view and, if you have read Tacitus, the memories.

We loved the lake and surrounding area. Watch out that the new assistant doesn’t take over your clients!!!
I’m not worrying, Gil. She is still wandering around saying, “This is the best! This tastes great!” LIke most she eats from this region (Umbria) and her parents’ original region (Campania) only, so all these other foods dazzle her.
