We judges have anonymously judged the recipes submitted for the contest and now the testers have to make the soups and report on them. I personally thought every recipe was a winner. They were all vastly different and you’d make one for one kind of meal and the other for a different meal, but overall from the simple to the elaborate, they were really great soups.
Now, if you read Italian, I have a little link for you to a glossary of typical Italian products with descriptions. This is the strength of La Cucina Italiana, that the magazine and the website offer pungent and important information on the subject.
I sincerely hope thew American edition will have as god a website and newsletter as the Italian magazine has. It’s endlessly useful.
